What is the breath? What does it mean to breathe? To really breathe? It seems so simple and effortless, just inhale and exhale. In almost every yoga class you always here the yoga instructors telling you to inhale and exhale, to breath, but a lot of us are not breathing accurately, we do not know how to fully breathe or understand the importance of the full breath.

Pranayama has many health benefits, for example, it can calm or invigorate, it can cool you or heat you up, boosts immunity, promote healing, helps meditation and much, much more.
Join me for this Pranayama workshop to learn beginner and intermediate Pranayama techniques that can be used during your practice, for meditation or just to improve your overall health. No previous experience is required and you don't need to be a "yogi" to take this workshop. Gathering of the Goddesses Aries Moon: Fierce Love | I stand in my power with clear boundaries Friday, March 27th 7PM-9PM
*UPDATE* Good morning Goddesses, I hope all is well. I am reaching out to you this morning to let you know that we are going virtual for this months Goddess gathering do to COVID-19. For those who are attending please register to guarantee a space and we will send you the zoom link to join. Please let me know if you will be joining us. This months intention: Within each one of us lives an entire universe; however, we too often forget our own personal power and agency within this extraordinary ecosystem. We fall victim to life's circumstances rather than remembering that we have the power to choose how we respond to life. In our forgetfulness, we believe that life is happening to us and not for us. Switching this narrative can be difficult because often we are programmed with a victim mentality societal and ancestrally. We are taught to make someone else wrong or bad, while hardly looking in the mirror about our contribution to the unfolding drama, or we end up being incredibly hard on ourselves. Since victim mentality is pervasive, it’s common to fear setting boundaries with ourselves or with others. We fear rejection, conflict, being alone, or being judged, so we don’t stand up for our truth. If we do not set clear boundaries in an attempt of relationship preservation, we leak our power and find ourselves, drained, resentful and sick. We end up sacrificing ourselves for some story of what we should be, “a good friend”, “perfect parent”, or “obedient daughter”. In the end, we need to learn how to read our boundaries, and how they interact with unique situations, people, and their boundaries. Boundaries are such incredible teachers because by creating healthy ones you can feel safe, loved, protected, nourished and in your power. What is Tai Chi? Tai Chi is an ancient form of martial art that helps bring calmness and serenity to the body, mind and spirit. The ultimate purpose of tai chi is cultivate the qi or life energy within us to flow smoothly and powerfully throughout the body. Total harmony of the inner and outer self comes from the integration of mind and body, empowered through healthy qi through the practice of tai chi.
What is Qi Gong? Qigong (chi gung, or chi kung) similair to Tai chi, is a form of gentle exercise composed of movements that are repeated a number of times, often stretching the body, increasing fluid movement (blood, synovial and lymph) and building awareness of how the body moves through space.
